The Daviess County Sheriff's Office currently employs more than 70 people consisting of Administrative, Sheriff Deputies, Corrections, and Dispatch.
We are committed to providing professional law enforcement and community service programs to our citizens. To maintain our professional standing within our community, we seek qualified individuals with the necessary skills and abilities to perform the essential functions for the operations of our agency.
To aid us in our goal of selecting only the most qualified individuals to serve our community, we have established the following requirements and testing criteria. The selection process usually involves numerous applicants to provide a fair but competent staff.; therefore, it is very important that we have the full cooperation from each applicant throughout the entire process.
